March Holi--what?!

My March holidays mostly centered on the amazing Sec 3 camp and rushing through homework I guess…

I was really looking forward to it—the camp, not the March “holidays”. Because every teenager in Singapore knows that there really are no such things as “holidays” here—and spending time with my new classmates and building bonds!!!

I couldn't wait to create good memories with everyone.

Yep! And so, throughout the camp, to cut a looooooooooong (and I mean really, really, really long) story short, together, as a class, we conquered the High Aliments on the FIRST DAY such as one…weird obstacle course thing, rock climbing, fox flying and abseiling.

One hilarious moment during rock climbing was when it was Hao Li’s turn to scale the rocky…wall(?). He was quite ways up and was struggling to reach out for the next rock when Jack shouted from below, “HAO LI!!! I LOVE YOU!!!” in an attempt to cheer him on.

Hao Li fell.

Haha! Woah, that was seriously retarded. XD

The irony of it was exhilaratingly mirthful.

I think several of my classmates had to face their fears, overthrowing their acrophobia and dizzyness. Like Fazeerin, who blanched several times when she had to cross obstacles with looming heights, but eventually completed the course courageously. Eugene too, who froze when suspended in the air, but managed to get through it.

Of course, there were legends who pratically breezed through everything.

For example we had JJ (Jake, whatever, he keeps changing his name) who strolled across the suspended log like he was Mary Popins holding an umbrella and walking down the street.

And there was Nabilah, who I now think is the reincarnation of a ninja or a monkey.

Of couse, we have the famous Tee Jun Yan, or more affectionately known as 'BB-Boy' who was ridiculously extreme to the point of bouncing from bunk to bunk and ending up flying out of the hut. Miraculously, he survived with barely a scratch. Kudos to him!!!

I for one, only managed to participate in the Flying Fox and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It really wasn't scary at all. Only breathtakingly exhilarating. I was only sorry when some of my good friends, such as Jack and Pei Wan, couldn't try it as well because of the inadequate time allocation.

On Day Two!

This time, it was Water Aliments!

We built rafts, tested it out in the infamous Milo Pond (for where anything that goes in, comes out the colour of milo), slided into the Milo Pond and eventually went kayaking.

Under the unforgiving heat of the sun, the cool water activties were greatly enjoyable.

In fact, I think I built some muscles during kayaking! XD

That's all for me now.

I have too much to say and too little time!

じゃあああ~!!! (>w<)/
