Sec 3 Camp with 3Chiron's
March holidays was absolutely boring , other then the Sec 3 camp :D My classmates in 3c rocks hardcore man. Had fun with them , we did lots of stuffs in the camp , eg : High elements , kayaking , Night walk , Flying fox , and lots of other pretty cool stuffs . The most I enjoyed was the Night walk . The jungle was so erriii and spooky that we could only hear the sound of the nature . The place was so dark that only we could just follow the path and the dim light left by the trainers.
Also , i also enjoyed the campfire on the second night . Many teachers came too , to support their class , or sit to enjoy with their students . I was like shy in the beginning when we did the cheers in front of the classes . However i overcome my fears and I did the cheer wonderfully with the Chiron Family. We people shouted the cheers loudly , to make sure everyone at the campfire could hear it .
At first , i thought that Our class could win the best class , however we did not. Its was quite upset because we tried so hard , in the end we did not get it . Our trainers told us that , in their eyes we are the best ! Hahas upon hearing that , I was not so upset . At least we prove People that 3C (DID PRETTY WELL , SHOWING THE BONDING WITHIN THE CLASS ).
3C we guys did great :D

H-H-HOLIDAYS' !! :D
Monday :
Went to school for ART project . It was suppose to be 9am till 1pm , but we delayed it till around 3pm plus. Because my group has a lot of touch up to do. It was tiring though but still , work has to be done.
After school , i went to a friend house.
Played games and ' did ' some homework's ~ Ha ha!
Stayed for dinner and went home straight after that.
OFF TO BED ! :D

Tuesday :
In the afternoon , i went to catch a movie at Causeway point .
We watched " Kaiji ( The Ultimate Gambler ) "
Its was AWESOME !
You people should catch it ! :D
Since Zunhung and I has nothing much to do there , so we decided to his place.
Helped him to pack for his camp stuffs and went home after that because it was quite late already and i haven't packed mine either ! So i rushed home and get it packed before 11pm.
OFF TO BED ! :D

Wednesday :
Woke up early and assembled in school . Waited till the buses are here and off we go to CAMP !
Reached there , unpacked our bags and wore whats instructed. First day we had our high elements activities.
Didn't get to do the first station because there was not enough time . Went to the second station ' Rock climbing ' . Third station was FLYING FOX and Abseiling.
FLYING FOX WAS AWESOME !!!
When you're standing on the edge , you felt your legs like jelly !
But once you're down , its so awesome that makes you want to scream !
" Woooooooo " ! :)
Had lunch/dinner after the activities .
Late evening , we all assembled at campsite 2 for night walk.
Its was interesting but we have to wait for a very long time till its our turn.
Went to bath and sleep , and there's goes first day~
-
Thursday :
Woke up and bathed.
Today was all water activities.
First we had our ' Rafting ' and it was a success ! :D
Secondly we had Milo pond ! Which taste really gross !
I really felt like vomiting after drinking some of the water when I'm sank into the water..
All the girls went to hug a Trainer after the water games, because she doesn't want to get wet .
After that , we went to Kayak , partner up with Zunhung (:
We kept crashing into other people kayak , but overall , it was FUN ! :D
At night wad had campfire !! Zunhung wished me Happy Birthday in Advanced ! :D
Everyone was super hyperactive , And its memorable..
When the clock strikes 12pm, all the girls wished me Happy Birthday and also Zunhung~ Ha ha :D
Thanks guys ! And girls..

-
Friday :
On that day , we're supposed to clean up the place. Everyone is doing their part to clean up the Girl's toilet.
I can tell that we boys were the one suffering because there's sanitary pads lying around. It was so disgusting !  Still , we managed to clean up the whole place before moving on to Marina Barage for Learning Journey.
The tour there was kind of boring but we did learnt something from it. :)
After that , went back home , took quite a time to relax before heading out again.
Down to Causeway again to eat Seoul Garden and then catch a late night movie!
" How to train your dragon 3D "
The movie was so nice ! I don't even mind re watching it though..
-

Saturday :
Afternoon went to M1 shop for a change of hand phone. Got into a quarrel with my mother just because the brand wasn't good and the salesman said that it doesn't last long.
So my mother was so frustrated that she could not stand it.
Dad then drove us down to my grandmother's place , which we'll visit her every week.

Sunday :
Woke up early in the morning , around 10am plus , got my money and off i go to Lot1.
Went to search for presents which i owe people for their birthday .
After i bought my stuffs , I then headed down to Zunhung's house to study together.
We then finished the homework in about 2 hours time.He fell asleep while doing halfway through.
Out of boredom , we then went to causeway AGAIN , to buy a present for me and our friend. :)
After that , we took bus home , wrapped up the present ourselves and since it was late , I have to go home.
OFF TO BED ! :D

March Holidays Reflections - Jibsen.
March holidays for me were quite boring, for weekends i went out to buy my guitar and now I am currently learning the basic chords so i will take a long time. i bought my guitar for $116.80 with bag and pick. Nevermind. Monday i did all my homework so i can enjoy the last weekends of the march holidays because the sec3 camp is arriving. I actually hope the day will not even come, because Arveen and Fauzi are not coming. Even though Jun Yan came but he went to the Gamer's side.

Sec3 camp arrived i am extremely tired because i slept at around 1.30pm the day before the camp so as to enjoy my ''last'' day at my home for that instance. That day during the camp it was rather boring as i had to wait for the teachers at the campsite and all the trainers to be ready for us. They did spot checks on us if we brought any electronic stuffs but i never bring any. I'm a good boy.

First Day of camp was rather boring i man very boring. But quite fun, because its all the high elements activities and I had a lot of fun in it we did many activites which made me pretty afraid but i did tried my best to climb to another end of the submit.

Second Day of camp is very FUN! I do not want to get in the milo pond because I do not even think the it is milo pond. It is just saliva and dirt inside it. I was so terrified when so many trainers spit in it. But then Trainer Alyssa persuaded me to go and have fun so i decided to do the right thing. SPLASH! my whole body is filled with dirt and i can smell a pungent smell in me.
Camp Fire time , it was FUN! we did our cheer we should have won the best of the best class award but i do not know why it is not us.

Last Day of camp , I missed my home ,because I miss my guitar. So we went to Marina Barrage for our learning journey I did not learn a single thing at all because I am too tired to even walk around but at least i did do the stuffs they called us to do, which is worksheets.

End of my Reflections

Not much of a holiday AT ALL!

The embarrassing things that happen
The last day of camp just so disgusting... We get to clean the girls toilet , which is obviously better than the boys one.But it turns out totally wrong .. EWW.... Don't know what went wrong to the girls in the camp... They suddenly forgot how to dispose their sanitary pads properly.. Jake ,Eunice and me just went around to search for tissue papers and rubbish. But we didn't expect any pads . :) hahaha Jake just freaked out when he saw the FIRST sanitary pad .No choice but to pick it up.. :( Than more and more pads just appeared from everywhere OUTSIDE the toilet... Nevermind . Eunice and Jake used plastic bag to pick the Pads... but me? unfortunately , i have to use my hands..... EWWW.... disgusting !!!!! Omg.... But its over now... But the 'bloody' scene still there :(

Do-wa-di-di-di-di-dum-di-di-do!
From the time I heard that we were having a camp I was like "oh my god!". I dislike camps especially the ones at Sarimbun Scout Camp but I decided to go after a lot of persuasion from someone and after the yelling session by Mr Cheok. In that moment I decided to go because I never want to experience another raining saliva session! Sorry Mr Cheok.

The first day of camp was exhilarating for me as we did the high elements. It took me half the day to get used to the new environment. When that was settled I focused my attention to the task at hand: abseiling... which looked easy until I had to actually do it. The moment my turn came, I started panicking. It was too scary and it didn't help when the trainer pushed me back down when I tried to get back on to the platform. I still can't believe that I managed to get back on the ground amidst the crying. I was rather prepared to die while trying to make my way down... I think I would have preferred to die maybe... Admittedly though, I was pretty proud that I tried abseiling and that I didn't chicken out.

Day two was mostly water sports like kayaking and rafting. I loved every minute of the kayaking. It was so much fun doing it in open sea. I kept bringing my knees up to my chest so that the kayak would threaten to capsize and Shankari would start screaming (nothing new) like a mad person (also nothing new) for the front. I could never hold in my laughter whenever we collided against another kayak and Shankari started screaming again.

The third day was too quick and brutally short. With only enough time to take a couple of pictures with our trainers, we then headed off for National Education trip... which I don't remember much of since I was still in pain from the exhausting camp.

SEC 3 CAAAAMP! (:
Alright, firstly, there wasn't any holidays. It was just all about preparing for the camp and going for it. Did I mention how AWESOME the camp was? (: This was the like the first camp I enjoyed so much. 3C ROCKS! Haha. Okay, so for the first day, we had to do high elements, which was a scare to me. I had like a height phobia so I just wished that I could skip it and i actually did. There was not enough time so I did not have the chance to try. Okay, the second day of the camp was FANTASTIC!!!! We went for Kayaking and I WILL CONTINUE LATER. BYEEEEE. (:

SHANKARI!

Is it even a HOLIDAY?
Holidays, holidays, holidays. Even though it was merely a week of it, I have to admit that it felt really, really short. As if it was only the weekends. The blame is all on those abhorrent homework they dumped on us. Plus, the camp that we have to attend to. Well, the camp is an exception. In fact, I really, really, really miss camp right now.

Before we went to the day of the camp, i already knew that uit would be just fine since I've been there when I was Primary 5. So, I wasn't that worried or of any sort. But yeah, love the camp!

First day of camp; did HIGH ELEMENTS. Been there, done that before. There was absailing, doing the 'flying fox', rock climbing and going through these 'fatal-like' obstacle courses. I obviously picked the one that I've been through haha. Most memoriable one? That would be the absailing. Seriously; never done one of those before! I admit that it was pretty frightening when we were wayyy up at the 'platform'. But as I 'climbed' down, it was pretty fun.

Then, we did the water games on the second day. Ever so tiring.... Especially kayaking. Was the best but the most tiring activity of the day! Aside that, I still have doubts about the so-called-MILO-POND they kept on talking about haha.

At night was the campfire. 3C ROCKED THE HOUSE!! We did awesome cheers! Sung awsome songs! And even did some competition; dancing.

Then before we knew it, the next day was already the last of it... Incredibly sad, to be honest. However, the camping spirit of 3C must never be forgotten!

March Holidays..
I spent most of my March holidays in the campsite with my 3C classmates and of course doing homeworks ! The teachers are cruel, they gave us lots of homework despite us having our camps. But, I was clever. (; I completed some of them the days before the camp and so when I got back from camp and that boring learning journey, I could rest.

I had lots of fun with all the 3C classmates and by this camp i got to know them better. The activities that made me remember the most are kayaking, milo pond, night walk and the campfire. The campfire which was on the second day was fun, everyone was like crazy. Maybe because it was held on the second last day of the camp and we had to leave there early in the morning the next day..

Finally, it is the third day and also the last day of camp. We had to wash the girl's toilet before we go for the learning journey. Luckily, the girl's toilet was not as dirty as the boy's toilet as told by the boys that their toilets are more dirtier..

Overall, we had good times together.. I love 3C !

During the holidays - Hao Li
During the holdays,I went to secondary 3 camp,it was very fun and interesting and we even learnt certain values from the camp.We played and stayed united as a class and groups in the camp.Firstly we played some high elements games there,I was very terrified went i was about to climb up.My legs starts to tremble when i was up there,at the rock climbing i dared not even look down when i was up there it was so high!

From the high elements and building the raft,we learnt teamwork and knowing that each contribution of the team members will lead to sucess. The trainers there were very good and friendly they started by introducing themselves to us,letting us know more about them.During the night, some of us could not sleep and we started to think of certain activities we could do and not letting the trainers know that we are still awake as we are playing cards secretly.

The last day,we were asked to washed the toilet and we went to Marina Barrage for the learning journey afterwards. After that we went to play basketball and was dead tired when i reached home.I wished to spend a more longer time there.

During the holidays-Eugene
During my holidays, I went to sec3 camp , it was very fun as we played and stay united as a group/class. I hope we could stay in the camp longer. We played some high elements games at there. I was very terrified,i hanged there for 15 minutes. There are many games that requires teamwork to succeed. This game let us learn many values of life. (: I hope to have another camp like this again. At the night, we played poker cards secretly untill the late midnight.

At the last day, we went to Marina Barrage and have a learning trip and we never learned many as we have not enough time. After that it was Home Sweet Home. I Went to play basketball with Hao Li and the others after that and went to a friend's house untill 11.00. Whe3n i went home , i was dead tired and went to bed at 12.00 and slept for 12 hours straight.

The trainers there are friendly and very patient to teach us skills. The last day, we were asked to wash the toilet. It was awesome and a great memory.

Secondary 3 Camp 2010 - Ashraf Azhar
Secondary 3 Camp 2010 - Ashraf Azhar

We came to TWSS, all suited up with our big bags waiting in the hall for our trip to Sarimbun scout camp for our Secondary 3 Camp. Personally, I was not looking forward to it, being a scout camp and not knowing what to expect. To some, they prefer the mystery of finding out what will happen during the camp, but I was worried that the mystery will end to be a boring mud filled sandy holiday. Not something I would naturally look forward to.

For the camp, we were split into 2 teams from 1 single class. I can't remember the names of the groups properlly but I do remember that my group (group 6) was called Ninat, the other sounded like "Barrel Roll".

The food was amazing,we had 'Zombie Curry Chicken' (Half-Cooked Chicken Wings), "Zombie Oranges" (Greenish-tinged oranges), "Grandmother Hairstrands" (Bee Hoon), Floury Wan Ton's and so much more amazing delicacies found nowhere else in Singapore with amazing standards as such.

The 1st day, we did height elements ; boring. I did one of the C.R.C's , I can't remember what they stand for, I think Challenge.Rope.Climb or something. I had to do one about 20 metres tall, a flexible thin plank with ropes for support. In order to hide my fear, I kept screaming at my beleighers and whoever tugging on to my life (rope) for moving too slow or sometimes too fast. I finished that and was the only person asked to fall down.

The helmet smelled pretty funky too. Mmmhmm...

Next was Rock-Climbing, the guys had to do the right-side of the wall while the left-side was done by the girls. Apparantly, the right-side was really really hard, only three guys made through a certain height. Apparantly, the rock wall was missing 1 rock. It made the guys look stupid, as all the girls on the other side made higher than us.

After Rock-Climbing, we had Abseilling and Zip-Ling/Flying Fox. Abseilling was freakingly scary, the waiting time, the 'anticipation' of going down a 20 metre wall was so enticing it nearly made me wet my pants. Serious. But once you get to trust the ropes and the instructor, you will make it down without much problems. As usual, I tried to hide my intense fear.

Zip-Line was boring. The only fun thing about the zip-line was the instructor sited there. He was playing some 1970's music and humming and singing to the tune in an apparant attempt to fcalm us for the zip line. I found it freaky. He was probabbly the reason why I didn't enjoy the Zip-Line

The second day was much better, we did water events like rafting and kayaking. Rafting was a bit stupid, our raft didn't make it so far as it was a triangle-shaped. As much as our hypothesis sounded good, in real life it sucked. Ninat lost to "Barrel Roll" in rafting but thats okay, were all in this together.

Kayaking was kinda sad, we were swept away with the current and we were 45 minutes late for lunch. Me and Fairoz were using one kayak, we kept getting stuck in the mangroves, nearly into one of those floating islands with dogs in it. NEvertheless, our trainers said if we did a kayak exam, we would have passed it well.

Camp fire night, we were dissapointed. We owned all other classes in cheering but we didn't win best class. I guess best class isn't only decided by how well we cheer, nevertheless, I felt that our class has grown together closer.

We are literally drunk in Class Spirit. (Reference: Spirit = Alchohol)

Sec 3 Camp!! :D
I had lots of fun with my classmates , i get to know them better in this camp. I get to know what they are afraid of . I still remember the incident that happpen before lights out . A bunch of 'hungry ghosts' snatching biscuits for their supper . I can't imagine thats 3C . But its okay.
Like what Eunice said , the things happen after kayaking , you need not know . you may not want to know.
And that reminds me of kayaking . Because me and Tingwei were partners for that day . Cannot imagine the sea can defeat a 2 star !
Next is the ' milo pond' it is just a simple pond with mud and sand .Still remember when Jack slide down , he shouted this : Haoli s****!' We took turns to slide down to the pond . Our Trainer Alyssa don't want to get dirty because the shirt she was wearing , need to wear for 2 days . But we students are bad .After we 'drop' into the pond , we swam to the shore and hugged her! She shouted :D haha.. Overall was fun :D

March Holi--what?!

My March holidays mostly centered on the amazing Sec 3 camp and rushing through homework I guess…

I was really looking forward to it—the camp, not the March “holidays”. Because every teenager in Singapore knows that there really are no such things as “holidays” here—and spending time with my new classmates and building bonds!!!

I couldn't wait to create good memories with everyone.

Yep! And so, throughout the camp, to cut a looooooooooong (and I mean really, really, really long) story short, together, as a class, we conquered the High Aliments on the FIRST DAY such as one…weird obstacle course thing, rock climbing, fox flying and abseiling.

One hilarious moment during rock climbing was when it was Hao Li’s turn to scale the rocky…wall(?). He was quite ways up and was struggling to reach out for the next rock when Jack shouted from below, “HAO LI!!! I LOVE YOU!!!” in an attempt to cheer him on.

Hao Li fell.

Haha! Woah, that was seriously retarded. XD

The irony of it was exhilaratingly mirthful.

I think several of my classmates had to face their fears, overthrowing their acrophobia and dizzyness. Like Fazeerin, who blanched several times when she had to cross obstacles with looming heights, but eventually completed the course courageously. Eugene too, who froze when suspended in the air, but managed to get through it.

Of course, there were legends who pratically breezed through everything.

For example we had JJ (Jake, whatever, he keeps changing his name) who strolled across the suspended log like he was Mary Popins holding an umbrella and walking down the street.

And there was Nabilah, who I now think is the reincarnation of a ninja or a monkey.

Of couse, we have the famous Tee Jun Yan, or more affectionately known as 'BB-Boy' who was ridiculously extreme to the point of bouncing from bunk to bunk and ending up flying out of the hut. Miraculously, he survived with barely a scratch. Kudos to him!!!

I for one, only managed to participate in the Flying Fox and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It really wasn't scary at all. Only breathtakingly exhilarating. I was only sorry when some of my good friends, such as Jack and Pei Wan, couldn't try it as well because of the inadequate time allocation.

On Day Two!

This time, it was Water Aliments!

We built rafts, tested it out in the infamous Milo Pond (for where anything that goes in, comes out the colour of milo), slided into the Milo Pond and eventually went kayaking.

Under the unforgiving heat of the sun, the cool water activties were greatly enjoyable.

In fact, I think I built some muscles during kayaking! XD

That's all for me now.

I have too much to say and too little time!

じゃあああ~!!! (>w<)/

Camp highlights By Amirul
Camp was So freaking awesome! MOST of the class was there. Fauzi and Arveen we'rent there so it was more peaceful . We did high elements on the first day. We were FORCED to climb rock walls do flying fox by the Trainers Muhd and Trainers Alyssa. The food sucked cause some were half-cooked and tasted like ****. Then I had to share an hut with Rezan, Hidayat, Guo Jie, Eugene, Jake, Jun Yan( bb boy). We had a night walk which was boring. At night bb boy was climbing the bunk(I dont know why) then he fell, whike falling he kicked the door open and flew out. Wet activities the next day included raft making and sliding into a pond of dirty water. Kayaking was a pain cause we capsized( cause of Rezan). Then I had to paddle the hardest cause Rezan wasnt paddling had enough >:[]. The last people to get back to shore was Hidayat and Amira(wondered why they were so late). Ashraf and Fairoz docked at the wrong shore -_-. Then we had an amzing race sort of thing. We kept asking for bonus points on the way. Then we had a campfire. Cheered like mad. Then Jake had to dance >=] for a contest. Then we danced around the campfire like a bunch of crazy chickens. Then after the campfire we had a chat in the bunk.Jake and I talked about weird things and stuff about the girls in the class. We swore that what we talked stayed in the bunk. Then the next day we had to clean the girls toilet. So dirty. We had fun...I think........ I couldnt create enough chaos though :/. Learned alot of things there. Mostly affected by late stage of puberty o_O. BY the Sadistic guy, Amirul

Hot Shot
There's many interesting and fun moments during the camp, such as lying back to back with Beverly to gaze stars... That's something extremely memorable. I can still remember that Sherman from 3B even asked Joel to do the same thing, and me and Beverly went giggling... Interesting things such as things that happened in the girls toilet after kayaking. Erm... Should not talk about it in detail or you will see me on the front page of tomorrow news article. Alright! Let me tell you something extremely interesting and disgusting which was happened on the last day, and this terrible experience happened to JJ, Beverly and me. Alright~ Remember the last day we had to clean the girls toilet, Jake was holding on to a trash bag ready to set off picking up rubbish. Then me and Beverly came along saying we wanted to help as we do not have any task.
So the three of us set off picking up rubbish. At first, we found rubbish such as plastic, dirty sock, underwear and paper. Then when we walked till the back and JJ saw something white on the toilet floor, and he was like, "This is not what i'm thinking, isn't it?" I was like,"Gosh!!! No,no,no... Yes!" Then the three of us were like, "Ewwww!!!!" Guess what, our brave JJ, he took a stick and was ready to pick it up. Then i told him, he ought to use the trash bag to pick it up. While he was picking it up, me and Beverly were giggling but also disgusted. JJ did manage to have it into the bag but it was stucked at the plastic bag and not into the bag with the others trashs. We were all disgusted but have no choice and were trying our very best to have it down. Beverly used a stick and kept on pushing it down but instead of it going down, the pad actually open, and we all screamed and shouted in disgust. It was RED... BLOODY! Ewww.... (Goosebumps) This terrible experience do not only happened once, it occured to us almost till ten times. Beverly even used her hand to pick up some! After this traumatising experience, we were all stunned. JJ make his last comment,"Girls should not bring sanitary pads during camp, It's disgusting!" I turned and looked at Beverly, she added," No! They should have dispose properly!" My comment was,"Eww..."
That's all from me! Thank you &have a nice day!

i feel so good uh-uh!
Last Wednesday, during the one-week March Holidays, all the Sec 3 were expected to go to a camp. The camp was located at Sarimbun Scout Camp. Even though some of my classmates did not attend the 3 days 2 nights camp, we still had a blast. I am not the type of person who enjoys doing high elements, so I was not looking forward to the camp.

On the first day, we got to know each other with the trainers before we did the high elements. Each class was divided into two groups, but most of the time, we went to do the activities as a class. We had two trainers. They are Trainer Alyssa and Trainer Muhd. After introducing ourselves to the trainers, we proceeded to the next activities, which was high elements. The first high elements activity was CRC. Before I climbed up the steps to reach the long log, my legs were shaking. This is because I am scared of heights, but thankfully, I was able to finish the obstacle.

After the CRC, we went to do rock-climbing. Lucky for me, I did not have to climb up the rocks. This is because, I was the last one to end the CRC, so my form teacher, Ms Vani, allowed me not to complete the activity.

Then, after that, we went to do abseling. I have tried abseiling once when I was in Primary 4, but now, in Sec 3, I have forgotten all the necessary things to do. Therefore, while the instructor in-charge of the station was busy equipped me with all the ropes to keep me safe, I kept praying and asked him 'I'm going to be alright, right?'. After completing the activity, I was really proud of myself, because I had the courage to do so, even though I am scared of heights.

Done with abseiling, we went to have some food. I could not remember whether it was dinner or lunch bu I was really hoping that the food would turn out delicious since I was hungry at that time, but instead, the food tasted bad! I do not want to elaborate more on the food. It will make me loss my appetite to eat.

Next up, we went to the forest as a group of ten. It was our Night-Walk activity. I truly love this activity! This was my favorite activity so far, for the first day. After the night-walk, we had our shower, supper and sleep!

The next day was the most hectic day of the camp. We had to do the wet activities and later of the day, we had Campfire. Not forgetting, before the campfire, we had Sarimbun Challenge. It was like the Amazing Race, but was given with a little Sarimbun twist.

There were three activities, but the one I really enjoyed the most was Kayaking. Even though I am scared of the current, my partner and I did put on our best to kayak as far as possible. I did proud of myself because that was my first time kayaking and I really did very well.

Done with kayaking, it was lunch time! Again, I did not enjoy the food. Still wondering, why there were some students who went to have their second serving. 30-45 minutes of lunch, then we had the Sarimbun Challenge. We had our campfire when we were done with our dinner.

The campfire was more that what I was expecting. Chiron did have a blast! I promise you, we did cheer like some crazy people! Furthermore, we had some dance before the trainers declare that the campfire has ended. Chiron danced like there's no tomorrow. Even, my friends from other classes said that our class was the most loudest class. With that, we went for a shower and sleep, till the next morning.

Awesome camp days. I will never, ever forget this camp. The most memorable camp was my Sec 3 camp.

Sec 3 CAMP!!!
I had lots of fun with all my classmates and came to know more about them. All my friends are so lovely!

At the camp, they have a 'milo pool'. When I heard that we are going in the next day, I was hoping that the 'milo pool' will be cancel. When the day came, then i realised how fun it was. When Jack was coming down the slide, He shouted" HaoLi****!!!" two times. PeiWan, Jack and Eugene kept calling HaoLi-Tan LiLi!!!Hahaha:)

We had all the time together there. We sleep, eat, play and sing together. I miss our Trainers!!! It fin to spend the 3 days 2 nights with them. We also gave Trainer Alyssa a nice name- sexy hot babe chio bo.:) What a nice name, ya???

During the camp fire, We had to sent out 2 person to dance. I think i do not need to say who are they.

Really had fun will u guys!!! Remember we still got a long way to go and lots more to improve!!! So lets work hard together:D

During the holidays, i went to the Saribum Scout camp for the 3 days 2 nights trip.
From the entire trip, the most memorable that i could recalled was me, Hao Li, Guo Jie, Eugene, Jack playing poker during the two nights that we were there.
For the day, the first was the worst of them all as we had to wait and sit on the ground for over an hour and the ground was like so muddy that my shoes was covered totally in mud. After that, we went to have our lunch, followed by Challenge Rope Courses,Rock Climbing,Abseiling. I was amazed of myself as i managed to overcome my phobia of height and crossed the CRC.But for the Rock Climbing, I was dissapointed that could not reach the target and could not get the reward.I don't want to talk about the abseiling part in detail as i took a tumble from the first step along with Hao Li.
The second day was water activities like kayaking and rafting.I exhausted myself totally after the kayaking as i swam for a while in the sea but the life jacket kept on hitting me in the face, causing me to suck in a lot of salty water(that sucks)..The night was the campfire night and we had a lot of funs from there.
The last day was cleaning up and our class need to clean up the girl toilet. And we had to head to the Marina Barrage for our learning journey. After that, i went to Macdonalds along with jack and we went to play basketball till 5 plus and we went home after that.

In my 7 days holiday, I only got to rest for a while. We had a 3 days 2 nights camp and homework from school. The camp was fun and enjoyable although it it was very tired. On the first day morning, I didn't feel like going to camp and was sleepy. But, I forced myself to wake up. When we reached the camp, we assembled and then went to see our bunks. We did high elements that day and I was scared! Rock climbing was quite fun. I didn't get to play flying fox too. That night, we went to night walk and i was the last one in the line. I was quite scared and didn't dare to look up. Bathed and slept.

Second day was the most enjoyable day of all! Had water activites. Kayating was super fun :D But, my arm hurts after I got home. Camp fire! The activity I enjoyed the most! Was fun! I didn't go down the dancefloor.

On the third day, I was very tired and didn't have any energy. The learning journey was quite boring. After that, I went home and slept till morning.

For the rest of the week, I did my homework and rest.

Sec3 Camp 2010(Gee!Gee!Gee!Gee!Gee!BB Boy!)
Firstly,I want to say that the Secondary 3 Camp was awesome! It was great and evryone had lots of fun!Our class chemistry has grown and i believe we were the best class at the camp. Our lovely instructers were,Trainer Mohamad,a very laid-back person but very motivating,he has this intense but yet slack character but he was one of my favourite trainers. Our secong trainer was Alyssa. She's a very bubbly person and enthusiastic.I shared bunks with Jake,Amirul,Rezan,Eugene and Guo Jie.First day of camp was one of my hated ones as a had to defy my fears. It was creepy and intimidating. But nevertheless,i enjoyed the experience and flying fox is not that intimidating as it looks. The food was horrible and the drinks are not that satisfying. Its like cold ice water with a pint of flavouring.Bathing was super hard.Everyone had to rush for bathing cabins with proper working locks. The nightwalk which occured on the first day was insanely scary!Jake led the 'troop' of ten and we hiked through a a dark forest. It was a awesome experience though(:Sleep time was the best!Something amazing happened in the bunk!
Junyan literally FLEW OUT OF THE HUT!He fell down and was thrown out of the hut.Me and Jake were freaked out! There was a trainer outside whi was oblivious to the fall.He survived with NO broken bonES AND onlt scrapped his elbow.Thats Soooooooo amazing!!Respect to you BB Boy!(OH MY BB BOY!) camp qually fun, filled with wet-ativities which i enjoyed.Me and amira capsized twice during kayaking! The secong capsize was creepy as the wind and the choppy water swept our kayak, sending as flying into the water! The campfire was insanely awesomee!!
We elected jake as the dancer and i was pretty much afraid that they were gonna pick me!But,Our class did not win any award but we all had imense fun!(By:Ahmad Hidayat,25)

CAMP
Out of seven days, I only managed to rest for four days. There is a three day two night camp. It was quite enjoyable especially on the first night. Jun Yan or which is also known as 'bb boy' fall from the top bed, kicked the door open and fly out of the bunk. It was an epic fall. He got quite a number of bruises on him. I was lucky to be on the same bunk. It was so enjoyable and hilarious. Serves him right for moving around the bunk like an idiot monkey style. Anyway, there was a trainer outside of the bunk and he did not notice a thing. Some foods are not cooked properly. During kayaking, my boat collapse because Amirul put his knees near his chest which could easily overturn the boat. I could not reach the hand-print stone during the rock-climbing i was so frustrated. Eugene is so afraid of height that he stay on one swinging log more than 10 minutes and does not move an inch. He break the 3C record for staying there and does not move an inch for a long time. JJ was so close at entering the girls toilet but he saw the girl instructor and head back to the bunk.. After camp, we go for learning journey. Tiring. Both of my shoe sole came out during the learning journey.

March Holidays :D

March holiday was okay, except for the camp, because the camp was not okay. Camp was EXTREMELY FUN! Okay, let's start off with Monday. I had to go school on Monday for art as we have to finish our artpiece for the SYF Art. Miss Tan was not satisfied with most of our artpiece and said that it was like a primary school work. Pissed off with her. Most of us were. Enough about Monday. Talking about it just make my heart hurts. The next day, i was busy packing my bag for camp. I was feeling so excited then! I enjoyed myself very much from Wedenesday till Friday, especially Thursday night, when we had our campfire! IT WAS FANTASTIC, as we had a campfire dancefloor and most of the girls from 3C were dancing our heads off. We had so much fun, right girls? Haha. I enjoyed myself while doing the kayakking, rock-climbing, flying fox and many many more! All the cheers and other activities just make the class more united! Class-bonding! With trainers like, Alyssa and Muhd, 3Chiron really enjoyed ourselves and we had fun! :D I LOVE MY TRAINERS. They make things much more interesting and fun for us! :D

I LOVE 3CHIRON VERY MUCH! :D
3CHIRON ROCKS! \m/

What I did during the March Holidays.
On Monday, I went for my CCA. That's all. On Tuesday, I stayed at home. I decided not to go for the camp because I was not feeling well. On Wednesday, I went to meet my cousin at Lot 1 and she accompanied me to go see a doctor as my mother was not free on that day. I went home and rested after that. On Thursday, my cousin came over to stay to accompany me and we watched the drama, Soul. We chit chatted, used the computer and stuffs. On Friday, we did some homework together and she went home at around 6PM. On Saturday, I helped my sister to pack her luggage as she is going to China for her attachment on Sunday. I created another account for her on my netbook as she is bringing mine instead of her laptop. I helped her to install MSN on her account as she does not know how to do it. She is nineteen. On Sunday, I was supposed to send my sister off in the morning at 5AM but I couldnt wake up. I went to Jurong Point with my family for lunch and my dad cooked a wonderful dinner after that. I spent the rest of the night using the computer. That is how I spent my March Holidays.

During the March holiday ,on Monday I had to attend art class from 8am-4pm. It was tiring yet stressful. I did alot of hard work for my Art SYF project but still Miss Tan mine looks like primary school art. I redo it up till 3pm and still Miss Tan is not impressive enough.

My bestest holiday ever was going camp with the 3Chiron. It was the best camp i've ever been . I had fun shouting , screamin , dancing and laughing with 3C. Especially during the campfire , we sing , shout and dance especially during the dancefloor. Basically , the food taste not nice especially the chicken and the vegetables . I think the camp is useful as it bonding the 3C become one supportive and cheerful class. Also , the trainer was fun . During the campfire, I screamed my lungs out just to win the best class. I know some of my classmate did that too. After that we had our dance floor and most of us was dancing our heads off without even care that people are watching us. I think we had the best trainer , Trainer Muhd and Trainer Alyssa. On the third day, Miss Vani told us that we are not one of the best class. Our hopes and dreams shatter . Ashraf said that he cannot talk for seven days because 3C was not one the best class. All of us was confident that we will be the best class but it end up the opposite of it. Eventhough , we are the best class in the camp but to us , we are the best class.

Beyrawl & Ninat!
I went for the 3D1N camp in Sarimbun scouts camp on the 17th-19th of March. It was an adventure camp for all the secondary 3 students. I was reluctant to go at first, I thought that camps were boring and we will not really enjoy ourselves. Then, I was wrong. I had lots of fun with my classmates and we screamed and shout like crazy mad people.

We tried the high elements on the first day of the camp. We had to walk on a log and get to the other end with the help of only one rope. It was rather challenging and I felt really scared when I was walking along the log. I thought I would drop down if I lost balance. I managed to get to the other side of the log eventually. Everyone was cheering on for one another. After that we tried rock climbing. I did not try rock climbing because I hated it. The next activity was Zipline and Abseiling. There was a night activity, we had a very scary night walk. We had to trust our 'leader' walking infront leading the way. He had to bring us out of the forest with the help of the lightsticks on the floor. He would constantly remind us if there is a big log or tree branch on the floor. It was to ensure that no one falls and gets hurt.

The second day of the camp was great. We had water activities. The first one was rafting. We had to build our own 'boat'. Teamwork comes to play. We played with Tire swing. The game was all about teamwork and trust. Sariumbun challenge also display the teamwork and bond in 3C. Every single one helped each other in the game challenges.

I enjoyed the camp and I hope we will have more of such activities in the future. This camp brings 3Chiron closer with each other and understand each other more. Overall, the camp was great. Beyrawl & Ninat!

My March Holiday ;

- Uncle's wedding .

Finally , my youngest uncle had become a husband now . His wedding was a success . Im so happy for him . the day before his wedding , all my relatives gathered together and helped out . Me and my cousins help to set up the tables , decorate the place and all that kind of stuffs . Even our relatives from Malaysia came . We did not sleep that day , because there is still alot of stuffs not done . among my cousins , I was the last one to sleep , as I was busy touching things up . I want to make my uncle's wedding perfect . I slept around 7 in the morning , the next day . I was so tired .

When the big day came , I felt so excited . Im just so happy that finally my uncle is getting married . When the bride walked down the red carpet to the 'pelamin' , everybody was flashing their cameras on her . Im actually close to my uncle's wife . Even before they got married , she would stopped by my house and spent time with me and my family . I treated her more like a cousin or a big sister , rather than as my aunt . It is because she is quite young , only 23 years old .

At the end of the day , everyone had fun and was really happy . i felt satisified , because all our hard work has paid off .

me & my cousins , with the groom & bride .

my family . (uncle's side)

- Sec 3 Camp !

Camp was awesome ! i really had a blast . im starting to miss camp now , and the trainers too .
how i wish we could spent a few more days there . :(

First day of camp ;

There's alot of activities during the first day . One of them is the high elements . I got the chance to try Abseiling , Rock Climbing and my favourite was Flying Fox . We had lunch before that . No offence , but the food taste really bad . I felt like as if Im eating 'hospital' food . At night , we had the Night Walk . I hated of the idea of walking in a forest at night , because Im afraid of the dark . Fortunately , after the going through the Night Walk , Im less afraid of the dark , becaue when Im in the pitch-black forest , I did not encounter anything paranormal or anything . Thank god .

Second day of camp ;

We had activities that involves water , like Rafting , Kayaking and sliding down a slide and into a really dirty and smelly pond called the 'Milo Pond' . Despite being wet and dirty and feeling very uncomfortable , I had tons of fun . After that , we had the Sarimbun Challenge , where we played a bunch of games . At night , we had our Campfire . Campfire was the most memorable moment of this camp . I really enjoyed myself during the campfire . Not only me , Im sure everyne there had a blast too . That day , I learnt more about my classmates , got used to them even more and understand each and everyone of them better . Now then i realised that i have really wonderful classmates .

Third day of camp ;

It was our last day , everyone was feeling rather sad , because we are so going to miss camp and our lovely trainers . Before we headed back to school , we had an Area Cleaning , and my class was decided to clean the girls toilet . It was pretty disgusting . After that , we spent the last few minutes with our trainers , talked to them and know more about them . Finally , after a debrief , we were sent back to school .

CAMP!
During the March holidays, the Sec 3's were suppose to go to camp at Sarimbun Scout's Camp from Wednesday to Friday. The first day we got to know one another and the trainers a whole lot better. The class was split into two groups but most of the time was spent together. My group had Trainer Alyssa while the other group had Trainer Muhd. After the session, we started the activities.

It was literally dry as the activity was high elements. I definitely was not looking forward to doing the activity as i was terribly afraid of heights. I managed to skip the first activity which was CRC due to the lack of time. It was definitely nerve-wrecking, observing my friends climb up the obstacles. Luckily, i did not have to do so. The next activity was rock-climbing. I tried the activity as i missed the first one. It was tough because as i climbed up, the rocks hardly had any grips and i was scared of heights therefore i stopped climbing and went down. Afterwards was abseiling. This activity was definitely the scariest for me. I had to climb down the wall with only ropes. How can i not be scared?! Instead of stepping down, i slid down because i have no control of the ropes as my hands were shaking due to my fear of heights. I had a mjor headache after the activity which was all mainly caused by the very stinky helmets. We practically had to wear it the whole time because all the activities requires us to put it on.

After dinner, we had a nightwalk. Walking throught the extremely dark forest was the least of my worries. There were trainers and teachers around the jungle, hiding. I screamed because I saw Mr Mus in the corner of a path. It took me by surprise. There was a debrief after the nightwalk and then off to shower and then lights out. End of day one.

Day two was the best of the best! We had wet activities the whole day. Firstly, we had rafting. It was fun coming up with an idea to get the raft to the other end as fast as possible but too bad the other group won. We also squeezed in time to practice for our cheer. After the first activity was an obstacle where we had to get to the other end by ropes. It was challenging but yet very fun. The next part was the Milo Pool. Sliding down the slide was thrilling but ending up in the pool of muddy water was disgusting. My left ear was blocked by water and i could barely hear. The last activity before lunch was kayaking. It was by far the best activity for me. It was scary paddling the boat as i was afraid that i would capsize but it was seriously an amazing experience. Luckily, my partner, Fazeerin, and I managed to stay afloat.

After lunch was the Sarimbun Challenge where we had to go around the camp and complete some activities. We did not manage to finish the activities because the group started late. Finally comes the campfire. The highlight of all camps is definitely the campfire. We had cheers and dancing. It was the bomb! Before lights out, we had a shower and debrief. This concludes Day 2.

Our last 'activity' was cleaning the girl's toilet. The whole class cleaned it fast with all our efforts. We chit chatted and took pictues with our trainers before finally leaving the camp for good. It was sad bidding goodbye to Alyssa, my trainer but it is time i head home. Not done yet, we had a learning journey to Marina Barrage before finally heading home.

Holiday reflection.Ninat !!!
Had a sec3 camp during march holiday .
I had a good time with my classmates and the trainers , Alyssa and Mohammad :) !
First day, wednesday 17/03/10 went to school at 7.15am and report . Had a spot check on hand phones but the trainer didn't check ours as we said that we really did not bring our phones. After that , we left for sarimbun scouts camp! Took 2 class photo before we went in .Went in , assemble at a sandy ground , that was disgusting .Talk Talk Talk , and after that went to our dorm and put our still . Went to try out the high elements like absailing , flying fox and rock climbing . Those elements was really great ! At first I was scared and do not dare to try , but in then end I tried and is actually not very scary. Flying fox was a little scary for me, I screamed as I am sliding down .

We had luch at 1.00pm and start to play again , I had forgotten what i played at that point of time. Had our meal again , dinner time , food was okay , but most of the people said that the food taste bad and disgusting , the rice is a too sticky . At night , at about 9.00pm , we had out exciting night walk , that was scary ! Yaya was behind me and she seems to be afraid too :).
Walked for about 15min inside the jungle , it is very very very dark inside , I can barely see anything . There were teachers and instructors inside to watch us but they were scaring us as they were quiet and when we see them we were shocked . Came out of the jungle and was really relieved :) . Had supper and went to bath and sleep in at dirty dorm :(.

Woke up at 5.45 , brushed my teeth , Teck Whye students were all typical ! They woke up so early , I think they were scared that they do not have a place for them to brush their teeth.
Tried out wet elements on the second day . We did rafting , "milo pond" and kayaking . kayaking was the most exciting and interesting elements I ever did . High tide and strong current ,almost made us capsize .Camp fire , we had a great time screaming our cheering . Had a dance floor and we all went to dance as if we are clubbing .

Third day , saddened , we were leaving the camp :( I don't even feeling like going home . I WANT TO STAY AT THE CAMP !! No choice we left the camp site for marina barrage , was boring .This is the end of my reflection , Enjoy :D

digging gold.
Recently, i have seen an old man, digging his nose in the bus. It was disgusting. Its as if he was trying really hard to get it out, but the most disgusting thing is, he looked around to see if anybody was looking at him but didn't saw me observing him. Well, my father say that observing people is a good thing. hah. back to the topic. After he noticed that no one was looking at him, he will slowly wipe out the 'gold' that he had found, under his sit, and that is inappopriate. He is just rude, and utterly disgusting. In my opinion, i think if his action is being recorded in the camera, he must be fined. Although he is old, he should know that what he was doing was wrong.

Hardcore Nose digging auntie. Ugh!
This video is entitled : Hardcore nose digging auntie on mrt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXazUAEKnVU

The title explains it all. I didn't managed to find any 'interesting' people on public transports or anywhere i went within the past weekend so, I'll just share a situation I was in that is related to the video above.

Nose-digging auties or uncles really 'urines' me off. They are just simply unsanitary and unconsiderate. "Please don't go flicking your bogger elsewhere." I'll freaked! The aunty above in the video just went digging her nose, hardcore! Luckily, no one was beside her because she occupied both seats eventhought she's small-build. Unconsiderate. (Sigh.) But, come to think of it, if this was recorded, it was part entertainment to. I went laughing my heads off. Apparently, it did occured once when I boarded the MRT. I just hoped i won't see any of these 'people' anymore. GROSS!

I think what the Indian man did in the MRT was inappropriate but in the same time, it provides entertainment too. I say this because nobody does this kind of things in the train and its special like doing a pole dancing. It is also It is also inappropriate as this gives a bad impression of Singapore if a tourist sees this. In the Indian man's point, he thinks that there is nothing wrong because everyone will dance and sing. I think that he is an open-minded person whereby he doesn't mind people mocking him when he was dancing in the train So, I still think that everyone has a different point of view.

One thing that annoys me whenever I’m taking a public transport like the trains or buses is the impatient people. It’s totally annoying to see that people are rushing out of the transport like there’s nothing happen, or maybe, they just do not realize that they are hurting each other by pushing. Whenever I saw an elderly or even some noisy, idiotic teenagers walking towards the door, one thing that is playing in my mind is “YOU DON’T HAVE TO RUSH OUT.” To be honest, I do curse these people in my head sometimes. I just can’t stand the impatient-ness of these types of people. Why must they rush? Yes, they might be late for something urgent, but can’t they say the two words; excuse me and why must they push people like nothing’s happening?! I just hope that there will be no more of such people in this world, or at least in Singapore. I really do not want our future generations to follow the wrong path.

Interesting personalities on public.
I saw a little girl , and she is like dancing and dancing anywhere and in the middle of the road, it is like unglam to me , and i will never ever do it in public . I also think that the girl is very daring that she can dance in front of everyone she do not know , maybe kids don't feel embarassed dancing openly . She is like dancing and rubbing on something , i guess it's a wall. I think she did that because she felt bored waiting for her mother? Or she got passion in dancing and wanted to practice dancing every second? Or she wants to attract attention of people ? Yah :) If she really got the passion in dancing , she can join dance groups in the community centre.

This is the link to the girl i am referring to , it is some how what i saw .

I could not upload it here , yah so if interested , you can go to this website to watch it .

This incident happened to me quite a few times already. Sometimes i would end school late in the evening and i would have to take a bus then the MRT to get home. Usually, the bus in not the problem but the MRT is. People would be on their way back from work and therefore the MRT is always pack. Passengers would squeeze and push their way in as if it was the last train for the day. It is really annoying because they are very inconsiderate and impatient. Eventhough it is only a stop which lasts for less than 5 minutes, i had to endure the odour and uncomfortableness.

Mother cutting son's toe nails on MRT.

There was once I saw a China woman and her son on the mrt. The son’s leg was sticking out as the mother cut his toe nails for him. I find it disgusting as such stuffs should be done at home and not in the public. When a man went up to tell her not to do so, she stood up and raised her voice wanting to start an argument. I think that the woman is very rude and unhygienic to cut her son’s toe nails on the mrt. Cutting toe nails on mrt is already very ridiculous to add on she didn’t clear the nails on the floor and just alight the mrt. Though there isn’t a law that doesn’t allow people to cut their nails in the mrt, but shouldn’t they have the common sense to think that they shouldn’t have done it?

It happen recently about a couple of months ago when i was on my way to Woodlands and there were alot of passenger in the MRT. There is a girl , who is in 20s , whom i think is a fashionista . She wore alot of accessories which annoyed people abit. I guess she wanted to look like Lady Gaga . As she was listening to her song through her earpiece , i was guessing she was listening to Lady Gaga. She then sing it out loud. I was quite shock at first as I was standing behind her. She started singing out loud and when i look around , i saw people staring at her and laughed. I wanted to laugh but i scared that i offended her or hurt her feeling. I think that she's a Lady Gaga fan. She had a nice voice though but she showcase her style and voice at a wrong place. From my point of view , she could audition in Singapore Idol or any singing contest.

Its a dissappointment that I could not snap a shot of her as I was standing right behind her and i do no want to be too obvious. If i would have taken a photo of her , you would be amazed of her outfits. She look cool and stylish.

Eunice's article
I met this lady near City Hall, i can't say she is insane or crazy but her mental health is definitely not as well as normality. She is not an old lady though she is in a vulnerable state. She have shoulder-length white/gray hair, hardly any much black hair. She dresses rather casual, a sheeveless top & a knee length skirt. I saw her several times before already. Sometimes, she would stuff something in her shirt. Just like many other passer-by, i thought it was strange and odd. However, i knew it was rude to stare thus, i tried not to keep on looking at her. Sometimes, she would go around begging for money. She would also kept on talking to herself, as once i was rather near to her &could heard her mumbling to herself. Almost whispering. I can't hear her properly. I can not understand what she is talking about but i reckon, i ought not be so busybody. According to my mum, who saw her more often as her work place was near, the lady was sort of insane &meant no much harm, other than going around talking/ mumbling to herself or beg for something. I guessed she must had lost her child as she was not pregnant yet she would dress as if she is. Something upset must had happened to the poor lady thus, causing her to became at her current state. Sad story but strange too. Though the lady is strange but she is not annoying, just plain saddistic. I felt sad &sorry for the lady, hope things can be better for her.

I think this act is very inconsiderate as his singing is disturbing people in the mrt. It is also at night and tired people maybe dozing off. His singing may wake them up and also annoying them. It is a form of noise pollution to others and his voice is distubing. Futuremore, he is standing near the door and is blocking passenger's way. His dancing also prevent others from holding the pole. Other people will be staring at him while he sings and dance. His dancing, which is clinging to the pole and dance, is VERY annoying to some people. He should sit down and relax instead of singing and dancing on the mrt. A waste of energy. If he really want to sing and dance, he could do it at home alone where he can annoy no one. Maybe for him, singing and dancing on the mrt is a hobby that helps him relax.
I feel very disturbed about this act and he is killing my eyes and eardrums. Also, he is hurting my brain with the awful racous.

[ First Picture ]

I took that picture when i'm in the MRT , heading towards Jurong East . This picture was taken last two days . I find him weird because , as you can see , the train is quite empty and there is alot of empty seats . Instead of sitting in one of the seats , he squats down near the door of the train . Whenever the train stopped at a station , he would change location and squats or kneel down at the different door .

Not only that , whenever the door opened , he would stand in the middle , at the edge , just before the gap . i thought he has reached his destination but he does that at every station . When the door are about to close , he would quickly came back inside the train and continue to squat at the door .

One more thing , he would spit a bunch of times near the door . I was so disgusted . I am so annoyed as he keep walking about , spitting , squatting and kneeling down at the door , changing places at every stations . Can he just sit and remain still ? So annoying . -.-

[Second Picture ]

This was taken three days ago . I was in the bus , heading to Yishun interchange , to go home , and then there is this old chinese man , who is so disgusting and annoying too .

He sat quite near to me , (thank god he did not sit beside me) and then he would put his fingers inside his mouth and dig his teeth , as if he is trying to get rid of food remains that was stucked in between his teeth . It was so disgusting . He does that for the entire journey until he reached his destination .

Besides that , he would also pick his nose . Yes , it is really gross ! after that , he would flick his 'whatever he has dug out from his nose' in the air and landed at i-dont-know-where . He really annoyed me .

I hope one day , he will encounter a person who do the exact same thing of what he did , and the person will flick the nasty thing out of his nose and landed on him . I am sure he will feel what i feel . After that , he will stop digging his nose in public . -.-'

This Picture was taken at one of Singapore's Mrt station(Not to be disclosed) on Saturday. I was on my way home with my parents from ION at Orchard. And I saw these two ladies standing infront of the tunnel door. Initially I thought they didn't realize the line markings on the floor.

And than there was an announcement telling the passengers to give way to alighting passengers before boarding the train. But even after the announcement, they still remained there. This some how annoyed and irritated me.

After seeing these people, i know Publish Posta lot more why Singaporeans are called 'kiasu'. I think such people should learn basic courtesy and that is to at least give way to alighting passengers BUT NOT stand in front of the door to get in the train first. I feel that the only way these people would learn is by having a taste of their own medicine-to encounter people blocking the door when alighting.

Strong earthqiake hits Taiwan, injuries reported

02:50PM Mar 04, 2010

About the news:

TAIPEI - A powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked southern Taiwan today, terrifying residents, disrupting communications and triggering at least one large fire. Local news reports said several people were injured.

No tsunami alert was issued. The quake was centered in the same mountainous region of rural Kaohsiung county that endured the brunt of the damage from Typhoon Morakot, a devastating storm that killed about 700 people last August.

Rail service in southern and central Taiwan was suspended, as was the state-of-the-art subway system in Kaohsiung city, Taiwan's second largest with a population of 1.5 million. Kaohsiung is about 400km south of Taipei.

In nearby Tainan, a fire broke out in a textile factory shortly after the quake hit, sending huge plumes of black smoke billowing into the air. Power outages struck Taipei and at least one county to the south, and telephone service in many parts of Taiwan was spotty.

The quake's epicenter was near the town of Jiashian, especially hard hit by last year's typhoon. A Kaohsiung county official told CTI TV news that some temporary housing built for typhoon survivors collapsed. The Ministry of Defense said troops were dispatched to Jiashian to report on the extent of the damage.

Reflection:

This is not their first time having a earthquake. The people there had to feel the pain of losing their love ones over and over again. Not even that, they have to worries that the earthquake will come any time to take the places the stay and their love ones. How could people sleep well at night when they are worry about this every minutes? There are also no alert to informed them about the earthquake. This is a very serious matters. This will surely made the citizens think that their country is not well prepare about all the disaster that is coming ahead. This will made the people living in Taiwan Not believing the leaders in their country

Marie Osmond's son, 18, dies - Page C10
Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, aged 18 has died, according to her last Saturday. Marie said that her family and herself were devastated and still in deep shock by their tragic loss of their dearest Michael. Entertainment Tonight reported on its website that Michael jumped to his death last Friday night from a downtown Los Angeles building. He was reportedly to be rented a flat there. According to the officers, the victim was not identified on Saturday. He reportedly left behind a note which said he intended to murder himself due to a long fight with depression that caused him felt like he had no companions. Marie said Michael was treated at a rehabilitation facility but she did not disclose the nature of his problem. Michael was adopted as a baby by Marie and her second husband Brian Blosil. I personally think that even though a person is facing with a lot of challenges in their life, they should not murder themselves. There will always be other alternatives to settle a problem. I can assure to everyone that killing is not the only way out to the problem.

Newspaper Articles' Reflections.
The Straits Times pg A2.
Title: Teen sex: It's up to the parents to draw the lines.

This article emphasizes on how teenage sex is on the rise and teens are having sex at a younger age. In my opinion, as a teen, I feel that most teenagers are becoming very brainless in the process of being "modern". It is sad that very few teens really think through before doing anything stupid like having sex. It used to be that boys were the ones desperate for sex and forced girls into it, which is also called as rape. But now, things have changed. Instead of the guys being desperate, its the girls who are desperate. It is very saddening to see girls turn into "despos" because all they think, is to have sex with their boyfriends because they feel that their boyfriends qualify to be their husbands, therefore, they have to experience the marital life. I would like to really make this clear to all teenage girls that this is really nonsense. We should start being more alert and not be ignorant until the underage sex happens. Therefore, we have to prevent having underage sex by being aware of underage sex and be well-equipped with information about it.

Title: Crack down hard on litterbugs.

This article talks about how Singapore should be harder in those litterbugs who litter the island and make it look so dirty. I agree with this article because personally, I have been noticing that the rate of littering is going up. I can also see that the Singapore Government is trying to raise awareness to the public to stop littering. As the Youth Olympic Games is going to happen soon in Singapore, many foreigners would be coming into our country and will definitely observe our country. As Singaporeans, we have to take the ownership over our country and clear up for any mess we make. It is also mentioned in the article some suggestions to stop litterbugs from littering any longer. I think that we should really make the punishments even more harsher for those who litter so that they would stop littering and learn a lesson. As a country, we should do this together: keep our country clean and green.

1. Girl, 9, outwits kidnapper
The Straits Times, March 03 2010

A nine-year-old girl managed to fend off a kidnap attempt by being smart enough to trick the 'kind stranger' who offered to take her to her mother.

School was done for the day and Pang Soo Sin was inside the school compound at 4pm on Feb 8 waiting for the bus. Soon, a woman approached and said she was sent by her mother to pick her up.

The girl was reluctant to follow her. She tried to stall for time by asking if the woman knew her mother's name. When the woman became hesitant, Soo Sin realised that something was wrong and quickly thought of a way to trick her.

Soo Sin told the woman she wanted to call her mother and asked for 50 sen (S$0.21). While the woman rummaged through her purse, Soo Sin ran to the school bus which had arrived at that time.

I think that that was very clever of the girl and furthermore she is only nine. Though she is clever, it is very dangerous for other children that are not as clever as her. I think that the school should not let strangers in to the school, as they might kidnap them. Also, I think that schools all over the world should conduct a lesson on how to react when a stranger talks to them or is trying to trick them into their car. Teachers would give a scenario and test on how a student should react.

2. 20 years older than boyfriend, which angers his parents
The New Paper, March 03 2010

A 43-year-old woman was allegedly hit by the parents of her 23-year-old boyfriend last Saturday at Toa Payoh.

The parents of Mr Fong saw the couple shopping at a Toa Payoh Central supermarket and confronted them, asking her repeatedly if she was his girlfriend.

When she said yes, his parents followed the couple out of the supermarket, called her "shameless" and allegedly attacked her.

Concerned about his girlfriend's safety, Mr Fong said he shielded her from the blows.

He later called the police when his mother allegedly kept wanting to assault her.

Ms Ng, the girlfriend, has since lodged a Magistrate's Complaint on Monday against Mr Fong's parents over the alleged assault.

I think it was really unfair for Ms Ng, as she had done nothing wrong. As the others say it, love is blind. So Mr Fong's parents have no rights to call her shameless and attack her. As their son had shielded Ms Ng, this shows that he loves her and they should respect his decision. Ms Ng did the right thing to lodge a complaint since its not her fault and Mr Fong's parents did not have the rights to attack and call her hurtful names.

CHILE QUAKE. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35615455/ns/world_news-chile_earthquake/#storyContinued first the Haiti quake and now, the Chile quake. Natural disasters have been occurring for this past few months. the death toll for these disaster is uncountable by fingers. the death toll had increased to 708 ( updated). CONCEPCION is the worst of all, as the death toll is doubled from estimated on Saturday night. Thousands of people have to survive two nights without drinking water, electricity or working toilets. Many had suffered a lot because of this terrible 8.8 magnitude quake. President Michelle Bachelet said Chile needs field hospitals and temporary bridges, water purification plants and damage assessment experts, as well as rescuers to help relieve workers who have been laboring frantically for more than a day. It's sad, but because of the situation you have to confront the robberies and at the same time continue the search," Guerra said. as the country is in trouble, nobody will tend their stalls and supermarket, allowing the looters to have a chance to take anything they want from the marts. police have to double their workload to help searching for survivors and nabbing the looters. Things dint get better when a tsunami crashed into Chile an hour after the quake. Of the earthquake’s 723 victims, most were in the wine-growing Maule region that includes Talcahuano, now a mud-caked, ravaged town of 180,000 just north of Concepcion. Close to 80 percent of Talcahuano’s residents are now homeless. People got to sleep on the streets until their house is rebuild or there’s a temporary shelter for them. Many are still traumatized after the two disasters.

I think that people shouldn’t be looting just because there are no shopkeepers there. Cause one can affect others. When they loot, others will start to follow them because they think that it is OK. The government should give the people foods and shelter too, of course, with the help of other countries. As a earthling, we helped Haiti, so why can’t we just help Chile too? I am sure that if the people there got their foods and shelter, they won’t loot anymore. Many loot because they have to support their childrens of family members. Everybody could just give them a helping hand, to make their lives better. Especially Singaporeans, as we are one of the safest country to be “shield” from the natural disaster, therefore, we must do our best to help the others! View related photos
