IN Straits Times pg10
No real value in pricey giftsI do agree with the author that, nowadays, teens are bargaining with their parents of getting something new or cosy if they achieve distinction. However, i do not agree with the author that not all teen are like this ¬ all teens only think that the value matters cause as a matter of fact, many still do not think this way & insist on hand-made item for friend's birthday &etc. Things that are made by one self contain a much more value than a present that is bought from the shopping mall. Sometimes, even a hand-made card with your name or several stickers can be the most valuable &sweetest gift ever. Eunice M.J.Y |
