Higher demand for green products.(pg B6; Home)

This article tells its readers that the number of people buying environment-friendly appliances with energy-efficient features is increasing because these measures results in savings for the consumer.

Upon reading this article, what comes into my mind is 'conserving energy' and 'saving the earth'. As we all know, the amount of fossil fuels are being used up rapidly to meet the needs of people for their convenience. But globally, we also know that burning fossil fuel to produce energy contributes greatly to global warming.

As such, we should start reducing amount of energy usage in our daily lives. I feel that this is not an individual contribution but a global contribution towards saving the earth.
