An elderly driver who had a heart attack when he crashed into two vehicles, died. The accident happened on Sunday at Joo Chiat Road at around 10.30 am. Mr Tan Kau, 74, a retiree was driving along Joo Chiat Road heading towards Changi Airport when he lost control of his car. The car then slammed into another car, followed by a private bus which was dropping of passengers. Mr Tan who was unconscious but was left with no visible injuries, died on Sunday. His wife who was in the car with him is alive. The driver of the other car was also warded for slight injuries and passengers of the bus were unhurt. I feel really sorry for Mr Tan because he did not expect to get a heart attack which caused him to die and leave his family. He could have been more careful with his driving but it is no use now.
